What is a Nautural BEE POLLEN?

Natural Bee pollen is a mixture of flower pollen, nectar, enzymes, honey, wax and bee secretions. Each time a bee lands on a flower, pollen sticks to the body and legs of the bee. They then take the pollen back to the hive to feed their colony.

Bee pollen has attracted the attention of nutritionists and scientists because of its high nutrients, amino acids, vitamins, lipids and over 250 active substances!

Some countries have even recognized Bee Pollen as a medicine!

The potency of these substances varies based on the plant source and the season collected. For instance, pollen collected from pine plants has approximately 7% protein, while pollen collected from a date palm pack closer to 35% protein.

Our natural bee pollen comes from Western Australia which is one of the best sources of pollen in Australia

How does Bee Pollen benefit our health?

LIPIDS…. CHOLESTEROL…. HEART DISEASE

Heart disease is the number one killer worldwide!  High cholesterol is linked to heart disease.  Studies have shown that bee pollen can lower blood cholesterol levels in particular the “bad” LDL levels.  Additionally, people with nearsightedness caused by clogged arteries, bee pollen supplements lowered their blood cholesterol levels helping increase their field of vision.

ANTIOXDANTS…. CHRONIC DISEASE, CANCER AND TYPE 2 DIABETES

Bee pollen is loaded with a wide variety of antioxidants. These include flavonoids, carotenoids, quercetin, kaempferol and glutathione. These antioxidants protect us from harmful molecules called free radicals.  Damage from these radicals is linked to chronic diseases such as cancer and type 2 diabetes.

It’s exciting to note that current trials conducted on animals as well as humans are showing that bee pollen antioxidants can reduce chronic inflammation, eliminate harmful bacteria, fight infection and combat the growth and spread of tumors.  However as pointed out earlier the potency of this outcome is based on the plant source.

BOOSTS LIVER FUNCTION

The liver is a vital organ in the human body. Its job is to break down and remove toxins from your blood. Studies conducted on animals have shown that bee pollen enhanced the ability of the liver’s function and enhances its detoxifying ability.

Other studies have shown that bee pollen not only assists the liver function but surprisingly it shows that the pollen has the ability in assisting the liver to heal, especially when toxic substances have been consumed such as drugs and excessive alcohol.
